As the servers go offline, something unprecedented happens: the NPC characters around him develop real personalities, and he is trapped in the game world as his skeletal wizard character. Adopting the name Ainz Ooal Gown, Momonga must navigate this new world while concealing his confusion and acting the part of the all-knowing supreme overlord his followers expect.
