Synopsis
## My Hero Academia
*My Hero Academia* (Boku no Hero Academia) reimagines the superhero genre through the lens of classic shounen, becoming one of the defining anime of the 2010s.
In a world where 80% of humanity possesses superpowers called "Quirks," Izuku Midoriya is born without one. Despite being Quirkless, he dreams of attending U.A. High School and becoming the greatest hero of all time — just like his idol, the legendary All Might. A chance encounter with All Might changes his destiny forever when he inherits the most powerful Quirk in existence: One For All. Now training at U.A. alongside rivals and friends including the explosive Katsuki Bakugo and the cool-headed Shoto Todoroki, Midoriya must grow from a timid boy into a worthy successor to All Might's legacy — all while a new villain organization rises to challenge the hero society. Season 7 (Final Arc Part 1, April–September 2024, 21 episodes) launches the climactic showdown between Deku's alliance and All For One and Shigaraki. Season 8 — the Final Season — completed the saga in 11 episodes that aired October–December 2025, bringing the series to a total of 170 episodes. A bonus TV special adapting the manga's epilogue chapter premiered on May 2, 2026, bundled with the 42nd and final manga volume.
