Synopsis

## Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song **Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song** (Vivy -Fluorite Eye's Song-) is a 2021 original anime television series produced by Wit Studio, created by Tappei Nagatsuki (author of *Re:Zero*) and Eiji Umehara, directed by Shinpei Ezaki. Its thirteen episodes cover a century of history across multiple arcs, each presenting a self-contained mission with its own emotional weight while building toward a cumulative conclusion of unusual power. The result is one of the finest original anime of the 2020s — a work that matches kinetic, spectacularly choreographed action with genuine philosophical weight. Vivy is the first autonomous AI ever created with her own mission: to make everyone happy through her singing. She performs at NiaLand, an AI theme park, but struggles to draw crowds. Then an AI named Matsumoto appears from 100 years in the future with a warning: AIs will one day massacre humanity, and he needs Vivy's help to change history. The plan is called the Singularity Project. Over the course of a century, Vivy and Matsumoto intervene at key inflection points in history — saving lives, altering relationships, stopping assassinations — each mission separated by years or decades of Vivy's normal existence. But the closer they get to the future Matsumoto came from, the clearer it becomes that preventing a catastrophe from the outside is not the same as understanding why it happens from within.
