Synopsis
## Terror in Resonance
*Terror in Resonance* (*Zankyou no Terror*) is a sleek, atmospheric psychological thriller from MAPPA, directed by Shinichiro Watanabe with a haunting score by Yoko Kanno — the same team behind *Cowboy Bebop* and *Carole & Tuesday*.
Two boys — known only as Nine and Twelve — have escaped from a secret government facility where children were used as test subjects to create enhanced human weapons. Taking the alias "Sphinx," they begin a calculated campaign of bombings across Tokyo, each attack accompanied by a riddle posted online. Detective Kenjirou Shibazaki, a man sidelined from his career due to past transgressions, is the only one sharp enough to see the pattern. When a troubled girl named Lisa becomes entangled with Nine and Twelve, the stakes become deeply personal. *Terror in Resonance* is more interested in the psychological wounds of its characters than in action spectacle — it asks hard questions about the systems that create monsters out of children, and what justice truly looks like.
